Challenge
Tunnel project - Ibarrekolanda in Spain.
Novenco had never produced tunnel fan type ARR-800/330 before. Loher motors were chosen because of the short deadline before the opening of the tunnel. This meant space problems in the motor bracket and less thrust output.

Solution
More test runs at our laboratory were necessary before the right blade angle was found.

Statements
We selected the best solution for the final customer, with respect to high fan performance and low power consumption. Because of the curved and varied line of the tunnel, none of the 18 fans are mounted with the same suspension. A large engineering and production work was done by Baltogar to achieve the right solution for the fan suspension.

Ibarrekolanda Tunnel is placed in the strikingly beautiful Bilbao, and is one of the most beautiful tunnels around the world with a significant importance for the daily traffic in Bilbao.
