The new Celovški Courtyard project in Ljubljana is the first car park in Slovenia with the revolutionary Novenco car park ventilation system with jet fans.

Commercial areas, offices and apartments
The complex is a new, mixed-use development on a former industrial facility site in the north area of Ljubljana.

Consisting of three sets of objects, it will integrate commercial areas with offices and apartments which have a common underground car park. The largest part of the complex will represent a residential building with 821 apartments. Furthermore, also a hotel business with integrated commercial areas will be part of the complex.

Four-level car park
Below the complex there are four parking levels with a total of 1,800 parking spaces which will have a combined Novenco ventilation and smoke exhaust system. The system is designed to eliminate the requirement for bulky duct work. It is characterized by low installation and energy costs. No ventilation and smoke exhaust ducts are required in the car park and therefore the installation of the jet fans and other installations such as water, sewage, etc. is extremely flexible.

92 Novenco fans
For the car park ventilation system, Novenco will deliver a total of 80 jet fans, 12 axial flow fans and 6 control panels. Novenco will also take care of the system testing, commissioning and hand-over to the end-customer. All fans can also be used for smoke extraction in case of a fire and are CE certified for high temperature according to EN 12101-3. Installation of the equipment is scheduled to begin in Q1 2009.
