HVAC-R package for bulk carrier

One of the biggest private shipyards in China, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group Co., Ltd. places order for complete HVAC-R package for 16 + 16 x 92,500 DWT bulk carrier at Novenco in China.

The contract includes HVAC design and engineering, procurement and production of air handling units, AC plants, cabin units, provision plants, unit coolers, packaged air conditioners, and controls of the HVAC system and ref. provision system.

“As a system supplier we always want to get the complete package supply. So it was a real pleasure when the shipyard contacted us with the inquiry for 2 AC-plants and 1 provision plant for each vessel to our exciting order of system design, engineering, air handling units and cabin units. So after very hard work we finally succeed in signing the contract for the total package supply”, says Lasse Nielsen, General Manager of the Novenco Shanghai office.

The first equipment delivery will be on 20 April 2009.
