One of the largest oil & gas events in the world, Rio Oil & Gas Expo 2008, takes place from 15th to 18th September in Rio de Janeiro.  The event organizer, IBP, expects about 35,000 people during the four days of the event.

Rio Oil & Gas Expo attracts important professionals and industry leaders in search for new technologies and management practices in the oil and gas industry and it is an outstanding opportunity for national and foreign companies to display their products and services.

SMM 2008 in Hamburg, Germany from 23rd to 26th September
With 47,000 visitors from all over the world SMM Hamburg is with no doubt the leading international trade fair for the shipbuilding sector. The SMM organiser Hamburg Messe expects there will be more than 1,800 exhibitors from 55 countries. SMM 2008 will once more be presenting a wide range of innovations to meet today's rising standards for more competitive ships.

The world’s top shipyards and marine equipment suppliers will present the latest technologies in shipbuilding, such as for propulsion, automation, ship management, marine equipment and information and communications systems, on an overall space of 87,000 sq.m. from September 23rd-26th 2008. The focus this year will be very much on energy-saving and environment-friendly technologies.
