Portugal's biggest car park

In co-operation with our local partner Copade Lda, Novenco will supply the complete car park ventilation system for the new Dolce Vita Tejo Shopping Centre located in the North of the municipality of Amadora, 10 km north-east of Lisbon.Dolce Vita Tejo
With a retail and leisure area of more than 100,000 m² and a car park area of approx. 290,000 m² Dolce Vita Tejo is Portugal’s biggest shopping mall. The shopping centre will have 300 stores, a giant hypermarket and a cinema complex.
With approx. 10,000 parking spaces over 4 levels, the Dolce Vita Tejo Shopping Centre has the largest car park in Portugal to date.
Scope of supply
For the car park ventilation system, Novenco/Copade Lda. will deliver in total approx. 500 jet fans and more than 100 axial flow fans (diam. 1.4m and 1.6m). All fans can also be used for smoke extraction in case of a fire and are CE certified for high temperature according to EN 12101-3. Installation of the equipment is scheduled to begin in Q3 2008.
The project is developed by Amorin Imobiliaria in partnership with ING Real Estate Development. On the occasion of the public disclosure of the joint venture, Rui Alegre, chairman of Amorim Imobiliária, stated that “Dolce Vita Tejo will be a landmark in property investments in Portugal, and heralds a new generation of shopping centres nationwide”.
