Novenco invests in new production machinery in Denmark

In order to meet the market requirements, Novenco has invested 40 million DKK in new production machinery in the factory in Denmark from the Finnish company Finn-Power Oy.

The machines were delivered to Novenco on 17 trucks in January 2009.

With this investment the Novenco Group wishes to strengthen our ability to supply and our quality. At the same time the total manufacturing time is reduced dramatically. The new production machinery uses much less energy and thus helps us run our business much more economically, while maintaining environmental awareness for the future.

The new production machinery consists of a Night Train (an automatic sorting and stacking solution) connected to a Laser Puncher (LP6), a Shear Genius (SG6), an Express Bender (EBe5) and an E-brake.

5.5 kilometers of power cables were used for this project as well as 162 cubic meters of concrete and 8 tons of steel reinforcement. It took 100 weeks to plan the installation and 2,000 drawings were changed.

At the end of August the new “factory” was opened by the Novenco employees in Denmark and their families.
