Contract signed for the next Sevan Driller

At the end of October 2009, Novenco signed the contract for the next Sevan Driller Unit to be built at COSCO Shipyard (Nantong) in China.

This is the second driller unit that will be built for Sevan at COSCO. The first one is performing the final testing right now. Novenco in Bergen, Norway also delivered the complete HVAC package for the first driller unit as well as for two Sevan FPSO units currently under construction at Hantong Heavy Industries in Nantong.

The scope of this contract is all HVAC equipment including chiller units and the provision cooling plant, system design, supervision of the installation, and commissioning.

Novenco in Shanghai is also involved in the project.
